Through transparency of parties' financing towards public trust

CeSID continues the activities of monitoring political parties financing in Serbia within the new project Through transparency of parties’ financing towards public trust. After the analysis of regulations that define political parties financing in Serbia and identification of the crucial problems in implementing the Law on political parties financing, CeSID strives to call the attention of the public to a real practice of political parties financing and to real money flow in politics in Serbia.

The aim of the project Through transparency of parties’ financing towards public trust is to define the mechanisms of parties’ financing and make them transparent for the public through the presentation of a study that will be published by CeSID after collecting data by in-depth interviews in 5 municipalities in Serbia. Round tables on research findings concerning ways of political parties’ financing will be conducted in regional centres in Serbia and in Belgrade, and the expert public and all the interested will be able to participate in them.

CeSID will realize the project Through transparency of parties’ financing towards public trust with the support of Open Society Fund Belgrade Office.
